Vehicle description
Here we have a 1976 LT Camaro, It may not have started at the factory as an LT but if I ordered this would be it! I have owned this Camaro for over 15 years and this year I finally finished. Your wondering why I would sell her just like that? Well 2 years ago we had a new addition to the family, a 1966 Fairlane convertible, and it fits the family style better. (not single anymore). This Camaro is totally ready for the road. New rear tires, shocks and trim rings. Engine runs and sounds great, transmission shifts smooth and the drive train is solid. The body and paint were just done, not even buffed yet, and the aluminum bumpers and trim were just polished. The interior is completely done with new carpet, custom door panels and seats ( Fronts are black with tan trim and Burgundy alligator accents, Back seat is tan with black trim and similar accents) are real leather with leather arm rests and console lid. The sunroof was in when I bought it and does not leak. The headliner and sun visors are also new. In these pictures the sill plate is missing but new ones are now installed. The underside has surface rust only the unibody is solid. It only needs a wire brush and undercoat. (I had to leave something for the new owner to do) Another simple project would be to clean up the engine and compartment. If you don"t like the simple wheels and trim rings a set of Craigers would surely take this car over the top. Every car needs an owners personal touch. This car could be the one! Here is a quick lesson on vehicle #"s The VIN # is 1Q87Q6N584978 1st. digit is the manufacturer 1 = GM 2nd. digit is the model Q = Camaro 3rd. & 4th. digits are the sub-model 87 = sport coupe 5th. digit is engine Q = 305 ci 6th. digit is the year 6 = 1976 7th. digit is manufacturing plant N= Norwood, OH The next 6 digits are manufacturing order The engine # is 17N50118Z 1st. digit is the manufacturer 1 = Chevrolet 2nd. digit is the year 7 = 1977 3rd. digit is the manufacturing plant N = Norwood, OH The next 5 digits are manufacturing order The last digit specifies this was for a Z-28 Enough of the schooling. If you are looking for this style car look no more. At this price most listing are missing something like an engine or paint or an interior or are just blaaaa. I take pride in my work and would like to see someone who will appreciate the effort I have put in this car. Thank you for your interest and bid to win! Note: I am a U-Haul dealer so if you want to see the car I can have an Auto transport ready.
