Vehicle description
This is a solid rust-free car with a clear title. The engine runs extremely well and the transmission shifts smoothly. There are under ten (10) actual miles on engine/ transmission/ tires/ brakes, etc. As you can see from the extensive list below all mechanical and electrical components have been updated. I have receipts documenting the work shown below. Engine and Transmission upgrades • The 1600cc dual port engine was professionally refurbished by a machine shop specializing in classic VW motor restorations. The crankshaft was line bored so the internals run smooth. The machine shop installed all components and tin and provided me with a turnkey motor. • At the same time the engine was refurbished, a professionally restored transmission was installed. • New swing axles and bearings were installed • New clutch and pressure plate was installed • New Bosch electric fuel pump was installed Safety Upgrades • Electrical system was professionally checked and repaired where needed • Replaced the front drum brakes with new front disc brakes and hoses • New rear brake hubs, brakes and brake lines • Installed new brake master cylinder • All windows are free of cracks • Has all new tires New Parts • New front fender is included to replace the driver’s side fender that has a dent (shown in pictures) • New running boards are included as the rubber was coming off the top of the original running boards
