Greetings Just in time for Summer. up for bid is a 1975 Pontiac Grandville convertible running project that is truly a collectors item. From what I understand it was a little under 5,000 produced in this year and was the last of the convertible model. Due to a hectic work schedule I can no longer finish the project that I started 2 years ago. This vehicle is currently registered and insured in my name and will require someone that have time to tinker with it to complete the project to their liking. Below is a itemized description of the goods and bad. Car is not original it has a 2004 Cadillac dash board and front seats and the 22" rims are no longer on the vehicle. Before installing the Caddy dash the old odometer read 54,000 miles
Good:
Solid Body Drive able Metallic Paint (minor chips/scratches) Strong running rebuilt 5.7L V8 ( No knocks, leaks, smoking, or over heating ) 3 speed trans (No leaks, No Slipping) New Elderbrock 4 barrel carb Race headers Dual Flow master ehaust Previous owner said they put a cam in it but I"m unsure of the size New brake lines and brake cylinders in the front Rebuilt convertible top motor New Canvass Glass top, water well, and padding Clutch less fan New Battery New fuel Tank New heater core New radiator and hoses New power steering pump New Starter New Alternator, belts and pulleys New gauges from Summit racing (oil and temp are the only ones hooked up) New windshield Floor pans was replaced in the front Brand new tires ( 70 Buick rally"s ) New CD/MP3 Player Remote Start/Alarm
Bad:
No AC/Heat Wiring needs to be cleaned up Wipers work sometimes Need new door panels and window/lock controls Gas and speed gauge need to be hooked up Convertible top needs to be completed Timing is slightly off (sometimes it hesitate to shut off when the key is off) Paint on front seats cracking driver front turn lens cracked Paint could use a wet sand and buff
As i stated earlier this is a running project that I started but do to work I no longer have time to fool with it so its just been sitting covered up.
