Up for auction is a 2 owner 1975 Mercedes Benz 240D. I purchased this car 11 years ago from the original owner out of California with 91,000 original miles, car currently has 134,400 miles. Car is in great shape overall but needs a few things to be perfect. The engine starts instantly no mater how long it sits and it drives super smooth. During my ownership I have replaced tons of wear items, bushings, brakes, shocks, sway bar links, clutch, motor mounts, subframe bushings, etc. This car is a solid as they come and I would call it 98% rust free with just a couple of small spots that have developed over the past few years. The paint is also showing it age but is a good 10 footer. The interior is also in great shape and shows very well for the age. I have had the rear seats and passenger seat re-stuffed, drivers seat will need to be re-stuffed next. There are a few things that do not work at the moment including a/c, horn, central locking and fog lights, all probably easy fixes for the new owner. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country!
