1975 jensen interceptor 1975 JENSEN INTERCEPTOR CONVERTIBLE ( Over 100 High Resolution Images Below ) Here is an exceptionally nice "75 Jensen Interceptor Convertible MK III with extensive ownership history and documentation. Azzuro Mettalic paint, Navy Blue Canvas Top with fresh Mohair padded liner, Palomino Leather on Navy Blue Carpet, all in like new condition. Still has original Michelin XWX Spare on Jensen Alloy Wheel. Original 440 engine, refreshed with new top end at 23,000 miles, current mileage 28XXX. Engine runs cool with well designed flex fan and tunnel system, I have had many Jensens and was surprised to find this setup works quite well. Bare metal respray in the early 90"s has held up and shows very well, a few small chips and scratches here and there but no orange peel or door dings, excellent depth and shine. All chrome is in great condition, bumpers are straight and rust free. No accident damage, body filler, or rust repairs are evident on the chassis or coachwork. This is by no means a "project car" it is ready to drive and enjoy right now. However, this beautiful car is over 40 years old and has a short list of items that still need attention: * Leaking heater hose in engine bay, ( not leaking in heater core or interior, receipt for new heater core installed in mid 90"s ) but heater has been bypassed as the original equipped leaking hose requires teeny tiny hands and herculean effort to replace unless intake manifold and r/h valve cover is removed. ( A surgeon could do it in an hour, but I dont need the heat in So Cal so chose to leave it. Car also runs cooler in passenger compartment when water is not circulating through the core. ) * Power Antenna goes up, but needs to be pushed back down, possibly the switch. * Voltage Gauge Inop * Clock Inop * Interior Courtesy Lights Inop * Wipers are intermittent, washer works, possibly the wiper switch. Wiper motor is good. * Power top retracts nicely, sometimes needs a bit of help coming back up for the first 20% of travel. * Passenger window goes up fine, slow or needs help to lower. *Suspension bushings are a bit dry, could use replacement. * Missing the convertible top Tonneau Cover. This Jensen runs like a swiss watch, lots of power, smooth shifting, great sounding dual exhaust with crossover pipe and resonators. Brakes are all refreshed with new power booster, overhauled calipers, rotors, & master cylinder. California car since mid 80"s. Cold A/C, system intact, leak free and puts out nice chilly breeze. Very refined ride and handling. Triple layer padded top insures quiet cabin at freeway speeds. Tires have 80% tread, all fluids flushed and replaced. Inspections welcomed. $55,900
