Vehicle description
1975 Buick Lesabre Custom Convertible with 42,500 miles. Every thing works except the cruise control. I brought this several years ago in California with the intention to restore but never got around to it. Over the years I have gotten new seat covers, new top and new door panels and other odds and ends planning to rebuild it over a winter but now realize that I probably never will. This is a rust free western body that has never seen rain in probably 30 plus years, always under cover. I got it from the original owner and he had it stored in a car port in French Camp, CA for twenty something years. I drive it rarely although it does drive more or less like a new car, the engine is strong and does not smoke or use oil, does not drip however the transmission does leak from the bell housing. I had always planned to replace it with a 200r4 overdrive transmission which is supposed to be a drop in so I didn"t concern myself too much with it. This is a running driving car, about 5 years ago I had ground it down to bare metal and sprayed an epoxy primer on it then a coat of enamel one weekend just so it would look good going down the road, the tires are good and brakes were redone at about the same time, I have maybe 2,000 miles on it since I have had it. I use it mostly just around town in the summer months. This car needs cosmetic restoration, seat covers, top, door panels and bumper fillers are included with the sale. This is an easy fixer upper for someone who appreciates these old boats. There is one minor wrinkle in the passenger front fender that will need repair, nothing serious, it was something I was going to fix when I was ready to rebuild. Buy it now, pick a nice day to pick her up and drive it home. Will consider 92 fs plus cash difference. Reduced price, I will eat the ebay and paypal fees. No delivery or shipping of any kind offered.
