Up for sale is my 1974 FJ55 smog exempt California daily runner with a preserved patina of years and years of enjoyed responsible fun. This pig is not a show queen; she is ready to play in the mud and Cruz around town and to be enjoyed without worrying about day-to-day use. This FJ55 is mostly all original and with a matching number engine. I recently did a light professional restoration including wet sand and clear coat for the entire body. Sand blasted and painted roof rack, serviced front, rear bumpers, and roof rack. All new door panels, rubber, felt and original floor mats. The back electric window works with new rubber as well, and still has rain drip chrome, radio, all new tires, rims including spare tire, and carrier. This FJ55 starts up and runs like a top, everything works, new exhaust system, exhaust manifolds, muffler, front disk brakes, FJ60 front and rear axles with rear Spartan locker, and four speed transmission making it easy to drive past 50 mph. No oil leaks, starts right up, and very reliable. Brand new locks and ignition, along with serviced door handle rubber with two keys. The body is nearly rust free. The rockers have been cut by a previous owner and sliders had been installed; I really like the look and clearance it offers as well as functionality on trails. New oem battery tray, vintage rack lights, all the under the seat tools still there, as well as the rear passenger heater serviced and working. New oem dome light rear view mirror and much more I’m forgetting. Licensed and registration is current.
