Own a piece of Swedish Automobile History!
This 1974 Saab 99 LE has the 2.0 engine, 4 Speed manual transmission. Recent work includes tune up, carb rebuild, new coolant, oil change, new ignition coil, new fuel pump, new rear brake pads and new battery. Water pump has been replaced in the past and does not leak.
This car has been sitting in a garage out of the weather for almost 20 years. Body has been repainted at one time, original color was brown. Wheels, aluminum soccer, are off of an EMS. Tires have 75% tread on them and all hold air well.
Car runs and drives fine, clutch is good. All gauges work.
Known issues:
Cooling fan runs all the time, probably a stuck relay. I left it unplugged while driving in the cold. Foam on seats is worn Coolant bypass valve was leaking, so I bypassed it. Heater core is on all the time.
I do have extra parts included with the car. They include the original hub caps, spare rims, rear vent glass, complete tune-up, head gasket set, misc exhaust parts.
