Vehicle description
1974 Pontiac Trans Am - Buccaneer Red over Black/White.
She"s an older semi restoration which runs and drives well.
I had planned on restoring her to show condition but have decided to focus my attention to my family.
Almost everything works as it should and needs very little work to be in great shape.
Notes on the Trans Am Condition:
Paint Job:
10-12 years old, shows well as a driver
Drive Train:
The motor is not original to the car, it is a Pontiac 400 block with ram air 13 heads and some nice internals that run well.
Recently the transmission pan and all fluids have been changed to get ready for summer driving.
She"s driven well to work for the last week, yet could use a minor tune up .
The transmission should be rebuilt or at least gone through soon, some small shavings were noticed when I changed the trans pan and fluids:
Body :
The front bumper has a nice ding as shown in the photo"s and one rear quarter panel had been patched by the previous owner. The body is pretty straight, hood scoop is in great shape and not a ton of work needed, which is why I selected this car for a restoration candidate.
The under carriage has a rubberized coating is, it helped preserve her but something I would remove for show reasons.
I"ve never requested the PHS as it"s not a Super Duty, yet I will document the drive train a bit further for any requests.
Please feel free to ask any questions PRIOR to bidding.
The car can be inspected during the auction time frame with advanced notice.
Pickup will need to be local, I will help any carrier of your choosing or you can drive her home.
A non refundable deposit of $1000.00 is due within 48 hours of auction close.
Again, Please feel free to ask any questions PRIOR to bidding.
Thank you and God Bless!
