Up for auction, is probably the fastest 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ in existence. The 455 cu smog engine, has been replaced with a 1970 GTO rebuilt motor. The two tone cranberry and metallic silver paint job is quite striking. This luxury cruiser is optioned with power seat, windows, disc brakes, steering, sunroof, tilt sport wheel and gauge package. The AC blows hard and cold, all new belts and hoses and fluids have been replaced, including the TH400 tranny and posi traction rear end. All tune up items have been replaced, including battery,water pump, starter, oil pump and rebuilt four barrel carb. The buckskin leather interior is like new, as is the headliner and dash. This unique SJ model was the top of the line Grand Prix available in 1974, and the most valuable too. But what really makes this classic very desirable, are the 15" honeycomb wheels and ultra rare power sunroof! Now with the new GTO motor installed, the new owner will have the ultimate in Pontiac luxury, complemented by near GTO performance from a two ton car.
