253578192430 Extremely rare 1974 Pontiac Grand Am. This is the car that should have been the 74 GTO, not the Ventura. This car sat in the Utah desert for 20 years. It is extremely complete, unmolested, original, intact and waiting for the TLC it needs and deserves to be restored to its former glory. Very little rust on this car. The frame is straight with only very slight surface rust apparent. The only body panel that needs replacement is the driver side fender. A readily available fender from a 74 or 75 LeMans will fit also, and they are available as reproductions as well. Since it has been in my possession, I have gotten it running and driven it. Fixed the power brakes and even the power steering works. The 400 CID engine is sound and strong, no knocks. Starts right up. The T-400 transmission shifts perfectly, reverse too. I have also recently replaced the hood which was bent, with a hard to find perfect one. Replaced the fuel tank (the perfect original was damaged in transit by the shipper) with a brand new reproduction. The bucket seats will need to be reupholstered, and it will need new carpet as well. The trunk is intact as well - no rot. You NEVER see these cars with the "Endura" noses still intact. This one has its original with several cracks and will need to be replaced eventually with one of the fiberglass reproductions.
Just added 4 practically brand new Pontiac Rally II rims and Firestone Firehawk tires so fresh they still have the little "nubbies" on them. They are on 14" rims. Include center caps and "beauty rings". Full set of 15" rally II wheels included as well with tires that hold air.
