Vehicle description
Selling my 1974.5 Harvest Gold MGB convertible.
This MG is nearly all original and has been carefully stored in a garage for the past 25 years. I am the second owner. The original owner was my grandfather who purchased it new in California. I still have the original window sticker from the dealer. The car drives well, but could use a good re-tuning on the original dual SU carburetors. Because of this, I recommend it be shipped or towed.
The motor was rebuilt in 2002 and has only 2,500 miles on it. The chassis has a total of 60,107 miles. These are the major issues that I am aware of: The interior light switch will need to be replaced Car came equipped with a dealer installed Air Conditioner, but this does not work. I"m not sure if it just needs a recharge or if the compressor is completely out. The wiper switch/stalk broke and is currently taped together. This still works. The rear carpet liner above the battery compartment is missing. One of the wheel ring/trim pieces is missing. All of the others are original. The soft top has shrunk due to age, and could be replaced. Minor interior and exterior blemishes can be seen from the photos, but you can see the true originality of the car. Car comes with tunneau cover, boot cover, original spare wheel and tools, owner"s manual, keys and car cover.
Please contact me if you wish to have more photos or know anything else about the car. Thanks!
