Vehicle description
a well sorted and solid DeTomaso Pantera. This car drives great, fast, smooth, reliable and very well sorted. All of the popular "fixes" and upgrades that every Pantera needs has been done well on this car. based on information given to me by the previous owner, the following has been done to this car.
Engine and Performance:
rebuilt 351 Cleveland Ford engine, bored .030 over, Boss pistons, Boss crank, Crane Cam, 10:1 Compression, Holley 700 carb, Edelbrock 4V performer intake, MSD ignition and distributor, chrome coolant tubes and pressure tank, dog bone air cleaner black krinkle finish powder coated to match the valve covers, long tube headers, ANSA exhaust, chassis dyno 320 RWHP.
Suspension:
Front Suspension rebuilt powder coated with urethane control arm bushings and zerk fittings. steering rack rebuilt, bump steer correction. Powder coated rear A arms rebuilt by Pantera ProFormance, Aldan double adjustable aluminum Coil Over shocks, corner weighed and tuned, 7/8" rear chrome sway bar, heim style mounts new lower pivot bearings.
Brakes:
completely rebuilt OEM Girling Calipers, braided stainless steel lines, Corvette Master Cylinder, with Panetra booster and adapter. Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve, Wilwood Superlight rear Brakes.
Transmission:
rebuilt by RBT, long throw stainless clutch slave, braided line, new shift linkage, billet/urethane trunion joint.
Electrical:
Pantera_Electronics ATO fuse block, headlight motor controller, ignition releif system, fan controller, Optima Battery
Wheels and Tires:
Campignolo Magnesium stripped and repainted, new center caps, Toyo Proxes Tires 295/225
Cooling system:
Fluidyne Aluminum radiator in lay forward position, dual Spal 12" fans, variable fan controller, Gates green stripe hoses, Sandan AC compressor (not functioning)
Body:
a very solid body showing no signs of rust, straight panels, good gaps. one very small outward dent from a stone chip. two dents in the hood panel too from someone pushing on the hood latch Amerisport front bumperettes, nice paint with only minor flaws. Nice glass, newer rubber and weatherstripping. Shows extremely well
Interior:
Fully insulated with Eastwoods Thermo-Coustic barrier, Amerisport bulkhead reduction modification (reduces center hump, relocated AC and allows passenger seat to move back and even with drivers seat. Pantera Logo floor matts, new carpet, Corbeau Classic II seats which look period correct but much more comfortable than stock seats however i will also give two brand new Pantera seats with the sale. New seat belts. new headliner, upgraded power window motors. New Dashboard upholstery, LeCarra steering wheel,
