1973 Volkswagen Type ll Bay Window Westfalia Camper - #20B Brilliant Orange with mustard interior and period correct curtains. Interior shows as new. Rust free example originally from semi arid Colorado (Colorado is a salt free road State) Sold new by Vern Hagestad VW - Denver, Co 73,000 Actual Miles - I am the 3rd owner having aquired it for my collection 4 years ago Engine has been upgraded to a 2.0L from 1.7L which provides 25% more torque and allows for 70 mph cruising without strain or down shifting on rolling Interstate highways. Clutch kit and new exhaust were installed as a part of the conversion. Excellent heat exchangers - Fresh tune and service - New brakes / rotors - New battery - High tread matched tires. Just prior to my acquisition, the previous owner commissioned a windows out / bare metal repaint in the original color to correct fading and 40 years of weather exposure, chips etc. (No rust or collision repairs were reported or reveled by inspection). All window and door seals were replaced at the same time. All glass and bright metal are very good. See undercarriage photos. Excellent tent top and New top seals - Everything works as it should.
