1973 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 Hardtop equipped with a factory PTO winch, frame-off hand built nut-and-bolt Rotisserie restoration, 4 wheel drive, F155 Inline 6 cylinder engine, 3 speed manual transmission, it is exact to original manufacturers specs and appears as it did when it rolled off the ARACO Toyota production line back in 1973, this restoration was unique as it began as a "survivor"- an incredibly complete and unmolested specimen, there was well in excess of 1,000 hours in this build and probably just as many in research and parts acquisition, all components are original to the FJ and meticulously refurbished, frame and respective components were media blasted and powder coated, all body pieces were coated with a self etching primer and single stage acrylic enamel paint, the color is the elusive "Heath Grey" Toyota paint code T-113 and was only available on FJ40"s in 1973, The floor and underside of the tub was sprayed with a color matched- tinted raptor liner for sound dampening and durability, electrical wiring harness was circuit tested and re-wrapped, the fiberglass top was sanded down and recoated with epoxy resin and top with Toyota"s "Cigna White" color, a new headliner was installed and visors, new custom sewn vinyl seat covers identical to the original in color/appearance, new OEM shifter boots, all glass is original and displays the Toyota Trademark in the corners, new and refinished are the seat frames- front and rear heaters-doors-console- steering wheel- dash- AM radio- Knobs- pedals (including arms and bucket) wiper mechanism- seat belts are all original and refinished, impressive is it has the extremely rare original tool bag complete with stamped toyota tools, also has the iconic yellow bottle jack and rods, factory trouble light in its original plastic case and has the original owners manual, ignition key is brand new OEM Toyota and comes inside a factory key wallet, all hardware and adornments were retained- cleaned- yellow zinc plated or re-chromed as per factory specifications, every effort was made to use NOS OEM Toyota parts, rebuild kits sourced from the local Toyota dealerships or from reputable Land Cruiser Specialists, aftermarket parts were only used when absolutely necessary and only because the originals were no longer available, every decal-nut and bolt is correct, restoration was done about 5 years ago and has been garage kept in a climate control environment, I believe all the lights-gauges-signals-horn etc work as they should, Body and Frame are excellent, paint looks great, entire interior looks like new, undercarriage looks great, engine compartment looks very nice, all glass throughout are great, weather stripping is great, FJ starts easily every time, there is only about 1,000 miles on this build, simply put this FJ40 is one of the nicest I have ever seen, she is absolutely beautiful, she is a blast to drive and gets A LOT of attention every where it goes, you will be hard pressed to find a much nicer FJ, while I have done my best to describe this FJ as I see it and to be accurate know pre purchase inspections are welcome and encouraged, if you want help arranging transport to buyers home town just ask me as I am happy to help arrange transporting,
