Vehicle description
1973 Land Rover Series III (88) mostly original except for the front parabolic leaf springs that were replaced by the previous owner. It also has new brakes as well as a new master and slave cylinders. The front frame rails have also been replaced. After buying it I started taking care of some of the interior and cosmetic things but haven"t tackled the rest of the typical rust on the bulkhead and doors. It starts up quickly, runs and drives great and is a blast to drive.
New front seats and 3 point seat belts in the front and (2) 3 point seat belts installed in the rear. The parking lights, turn signals, fender mounted rear view mirrors and battery are also new. Everything essential like the headlights, brake lights, turn signals and hazards work. Although the windshield wipers, cigarette lighter, horn and aftermarket guages are not currently working. Wiring is very basic on this old Rover so troubleshooting is pretty simple.
The upper door sections with the sliding glass windows are NOT included but are available new from Rovers North (or other shops online). Paint is ok, it may have been resprayed, but touched up with spray paint and overall presentable - for an unrestored truck this looks good! Odometer reads 51,119k but actual miles unknown
