Vehicle description
This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in white over Medium Saddle leather and powered by a 454ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car was acquired 13 years ago out of New York with 49K original miles, and has been driven approx 15k miles since arriving in North Carolina. Installed modifications include a Holley fourbarrel carburetor, a DUI distributor, and an aluminum radiator with electric fans. The tires and exhaust system were replaced in 2015, while a new water pump and belts were fitted in 2018. This C3 Corvette is offered with a clean North Carolina title. The fiberglass body was finished in Classic White from the factory, and is said to exhibit occasional stress cracks and dings.
Equipment includes body-colored T-top panels, dual exhaust outlets, pop-up headlights, and a cowl hood. The integrated front bumper is a replacement, and rust is noted on the chrome rear bumpers. Rally wheels wear chrome hubcaps and trim rings, and were mounted with 15″ BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires four years ago. The interior is trimmed in Medium Saddle leather and features bucket seats separated by a center console, power windows, and a retro-style digital stereo powering four Pioneer speakers. The factory air conditioning system has been removed. The air compressor and condenser did not work and took up a lot of room. Much easier to work under hood now. The heat and blower work great. A wood-rimmed aftermarket steering wheel frames instrumentation including a tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and a five-digit odometer showing 64,564 miles.
This vette is only being sold due to having 2 kids now, and the need of a 4 seater weekend car for everyone. Its in pristine condition and runs like a dream - will be hard to part with.
