Vehicle description
This corvette was original with a 454 automatic and had the fully loaded deluxe interior option.
This was being built for road racing but can be used for street.
This auction is for the frame, body and items listed below only.
No engine, transmission or differential are included.
This vehicle has a clean title and has only 27K original miles on car.
Vehicle was involved in a minor crash in 1977 an d then placed in storage.
A new frame that is absolutely straight and 100% rust and pitting free was purchased and then modified for a 5 link IRS rear suspension for a Currie or Dutchman 9” IRS differential.
A dodge Viper differential can also be used and I will include a set of new 4140 Chromoly 930 CV bells if you want to run a Viper differential.
Frame modified for front and rear coil over shocks. Gussets added to the front lower control arm mounts and roll cage mounts welded to frame.
No rust or rust repairs on the frame, bird cage or core support
L88 flares installed on rear, still need front flares installed (not included).
75% of the Body has been block sanded and includes an Ecklers front clip that needs to be bonded onto the body.
Included items: Clean Title New Borgeson 12:1 quick ratio steering box New Duntov racing custom drag link provides clearance to lower engine in chassis. New Borgeson solid steering joint New Tilton hydraulic clutch master cylinder New Wilwood brake master cylinder New hydroboost power brake booster New Mark Williams 3” diameter Chromoly drive shaft w/ 32spline billet yoke All interior panels are in very good condition, no tears or cracks. T-Tops New windshield and original side and rear glass. Pedals converted to manual transmission Rebuilt f ront hubs and new rear 32 spline suspension hub assemblies Front lower control arms with new ball joints installed Frame is 100% rust , repair , pitting free and straight (frame specs laser checked to insure straightness) Factory tilt and telescoping steering wheel 100% rust and repair free bird cage and radiator support Rear bumpers need to be re-chromed; All other chrome has been re-plated. All new carbon fiber Auto Meter center gauges
D rivetrain , hood , seats or fuel cell are NOT included.
Some welding and fiberglass work required to complete.
Vehicle is on a wood transport dolly that can be winched onto a car trailer for transport.
