1972 VW Camper will start, run and drive but will need to have a few things fixed before starting a cross country journey. Owned by same man since 1981 and was driven to Kentucky from California. He let it sit for the last 4 years as his hippie days are now behind him. It was pulled from the weeds and miracously it still starts and drives however everything has not been inspected to make sure it will make a cross country journey. It will need brakes and probably the fuel tank cleaned it is currently fueled by jug sitting in rear compartment. Bottom of the majority of the bus has rust issues but nothing that can"t be fixed during restoration process. Back passenger corner had some Bondo at one time but it has now fallen out. Owner backed into pole at gas station in 86 and fixed dent this way. Complete camping interior complete with bed that goes above front seats for child. Canvas top around pop top portion will need replacing. Could be driven with minimal list of things fixed however it is a perfect restoration project as it is still in the rough and you know exactly what you are getting.
