1972 Porsche 911T Coupe with Sportomatic transmission: One owner since new, low original miles, factory-original floors and undercarriage, all numbers match. Owned by a woman doctor in Oakland California who originally bought the car when she was in high school. She had stopped driving the car about 20 years ago but kept it for sentimental reasons. It took me several years to convince her to sell it to me. Most of the paint on the car was original when I bought the car, and our original plan was to sell it with original paint. But there were many small scratches and imperfections in the paint so we ultimately decided to do a quality repaint: Windows out, doors hood and decklid removed, base clear paint in the original Tangerine. Body seals and rubbers were replaced new upon reassembly. Our lead tech went through the car mechanically,and a short overview of what he completed includes the following: tank was cleaned and lined, fuel injection system was cleaned, many engine seals were replace, brakes were redone, and the car runs and drives beautifully. Sportomatic transmission is in good working order. A fine example of a rare 1972 Coupe with the Sportomatic, excellent color combination, good body gaps and panel fit.
