Vehicle description
Selling my 1972 Grand Prix Model J.The car shows 18500 miles, I believe that to be accurate, However, I cannot document. Car was originally Lucerne blue, but has been painted black. The body is laser straight. bth front and rear bumpers have been re plated and are straight. the grille and headlamp trim (die cast) have been re plated (very expensive) they are perfect. rocker moldings are new, door handles are new. all stainless is straight and has been polished. all emblems are new. The glass is original and perfect. all weather stripping has been replaced with new. the interior is EXCELLLENT the dash has no cracks or damage whatsoever. The front seats were redone this past winter, otherwise the rest of the interior is original to the car. the radio trim plate has been replaced with NOS and it has a retro sounds stereo. The stereo looks like an original unit but sounds better, has am/fm as well as aux output. the car still has its original carpet, it is in excellent cond. the original GM floor mats are still present and are very nice. headliner is great, door panels are very nice as well. car has a 1970-1972 GTO accessory steering wheel as well as a hood tach. all lights work, all gauges except clock work. car has AC which was working and is still charged, but the fan switch went out last year and I haven"t looked into fixing it. wheels are from Year One. they are 17x9 billet honeycombs. tires are BF Goodrich G-Force sports. front has been dropped with 2" dropped spindle kit. engine, trans and rear end are original to the car. never rebuilt, but runs and drives excellent. new battery new alternator and new master cylinder. the body is excellent. trunk pan and floors are as they were the day the car was built. trunk has a new correct trunk felt trunk mat and spare tire cover. as well as new and correct trunk side boards. The original jack, jack handle and base are in trunk and have never been used. new front marker lamp lenses, no expense was spared on the cosmetic restoration of the car. This car is stunning to look at, it garners attention wherever it goes. I am selling because I bought a big block Camaro and I don"t drive the Grand Prix enough to justify keeping it. I"m pricing this well below what anything in its class is selling for. I"m not interested in any trades. please feel free to ask any questions, or call 7344446173 car is located 20 min. west of Detroit Mi. Thanks for looking.
