Vehicle description
1972 Plymouth barracuda project car rolling shell. Has a clean Oregon title, original rosette riveted v.i.n. on the dash, fender tag present and all numbers on core support, cowl, and trunk rail are matching. Original 318 bucket seat center console automatic car. Has 8 3/4 rear axle. No motor, transmission, driveline or radiator included. New Mopar licensed driver quarter partially installed. Not because the old one was rusty, it was cut off and used on a 70 Cuda in 1993 before replacements were available. Car has solid frame rails, needs trunk floor, rear passengers footwell area and under back seat patched rest of inside floor is solid. Around front and rear windows, cowl, and roof is solid. Has correct front bucket seats without tracks and back seat. Missing grille, front and rear valances, front and rear bumpers and brackets, all stainless trim, dash parts, steering column, center console, shifter mechanism, wiring, side glass, back glass, etc. Basically a decent builder Barracuda shell for someone who has parts and is proficient with a mig welder. Has good potential to be a nice car just needs some tough love. Cop car wheels and tires on rear are not included will have steel rollers like up front included for transport. The inside floors have a few holes in the front footwell area but overall they are solid would not need replaced only small patches. The rear passengers floor footwell left and right are soft and would need replaced. Under the back seat bottom has some holes but definitely easily patched the whole panel is overall very solid. The trunk center needs to be done. The right side trunk quarter extension is solid as well as the right quarter panel. The drivers side quarter extension was cut short at the bottom edge when the quarter was removed and would need at least the bottom edge replaced but not necessarily the whole thing. The front and rear window openings are totally solid. The upper right side roof rail ledge has about a 14 in long section that is rusted through that would need some patching. The left side drip rail has no rust through just a little surface rust. The roof gutters and are perfect no rust through anywhere. The cowl is rust free the front framerails are straight and rust free as well as torsion bar crossmember. The doors are solid no rust, the fenders aren"t rusty but would definitely need some bodywork. The header panel is just decent as well as the flat hood. Trunk deck lid is good. Left side of tail panel was cut short when donor quarter was removed so the car could use a tail panel for that reason. I was gonna weld in a 70 71 tail panel and clone this car into a 71 cuda.
