Vehicle description
Vehicle Details This is Rosie, she is an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. She was purchased new in 1972 at Delmar Minchew Buick-Oldsmobile at 317 East Main Street Wallace, North Carolina. She has lived her life in North Carolina and Georgia. Purchased new by an army helicopter pilot and his wife. Col. William and Wilmoth Thomas took good care of Rosie for over 48 years. This red convertible was his reward when returning from Vietnam. She sports her original factory paint and does not reflect any body damage. Yes, I put the dual exhaust and 442 rear bumper on. I have the original bumper if you want it. You can tell from the pictures it is very original with no rattle can restore on the chassis or floor pans. The paint is scratched and it has some door dings, things happen in 50 years. The rebuilt engine runs like a top and sounds great. The factory disc brakes were rebuilt and work like they should. The rear drums were rebuilt and the park brake holds. Transmission shifts smooth. Top is newer and goes up and down well. A/C gets cold but who cares, it’s a convertible. I love to drive it.
