Selling my 1972 Mercedes Benz 280SE 4.5 Liter. This is a wonderful last year of this body style classic with the sophistication that only MB can offer. Currently the car will run off a gas can, I believe the fuel pump has retired. All lights, blinkers, the sunroof, power windows and the radio work as intended. While in storage someone elected to break into the trunk by popping the lock mechanism. Not satisfied the also broke out the rear ds window. Prior to this I intended to perform a light mechanical restoration and enjoy the car as is as it is in very nice overall condition. However, soured by the violation now I"d prefer to sell. Previous owners maintained this car very well and a huge portfolio of repairs and scheduled maintenance by MB accompany the sale. Along with original glove box documentation.
