1972 GMC Spint project car
This is a clean title California Good Running/Driving Project some restoration.
Body: Needs body work and paint. Pretty straight body with no real signs of visible rust other than a small amount of rust in the lower rear passenger quarter panel and lower fenders. The body has a small scrape on the pass side, dent in the front fender and some other small imperfections. Front and rear bumpers need replacing, missing grille, some of the bed stainless is missing and some is damaged. The rear bed area is in great looking shape.
Interior: Has a nice black bench seat, has door panels not installed, new headliner not installed, no carpet, still has factory sound pads. Will need a new dash pad.
Brakes and suspension: The front has power disk brakes with new pads and new brake hoses, drums in rear with new shoes, 12 bolt non posi rear end, original looking suspension that could use a rebuild, KYB shocks in front, new air shocks in the rear.
Engine and Trans: 350 cid, 4 bbl intake with rebuilt carb, new hei distributor, new plug wires, new fuel pump, small cam thats mellow and sounds good, runs pretty good but still needs some tuning. 4 speed manual transmission.
Exhaust: Headers with dual exhaust dumped at the axle, turbo mufflers.
Wheels and Tires: 15" ralley wheels. Tires have good tread but should be do show some age.
Parts included: New arm rests and pads not installed, the corner lenses for front blinkers, new heater core not installed.
Things to know: Clear California title with current registration. Very nice restoration candidate that runs and drives. If you don"t see it in the pictures, I don"t have it. May deliver within 300 miles of San Jose Ca for a fee.
May be interested in some trades but prefer cash. I"m a Chevy guy so i"d look at Nova"s Camaro"s , side by side like rhino, dune buggy, 30"s hot rods, other projects, or?
