Vehicle description
This 1972 Fiat 500L was purchased in 2014 in Sicily, Italy, and was completely stripped, repainted (checker marks on the side are vinyl stickers), re-upholstered, and carpeted by a Fiat expert there. This vehicle was imported into California in 2015, and now has a clear California title. Since importation, we have replaced the original gas tank and fuel sensor with brand new parts (not re-manufactured). All other parts are original. The engine recently underwent a complete tune up, and she is running nicely. Speedometer and odometer are currently not working, but where working when imported, so may just need to have the speedometer cable re-attached to back of gauge cluster.
With it"s taxi paint scheme and small size, this vehicle turns heads everywhere we go, and we have had to get used to people taking their pictured in front of our car wherever we park.
Vehicle is located in San Diego, and buyer will be responsible for either picking it up in person, or arranging for a vehicle shipper. Payment must be made in cashier"s check (or cash if picking up in person) within 7 days of auction close. Please feel free to ask any questions.
