Vehicle description
1972 De Tomaso Pantera, with original 32,252 Miles.
Being a Pre "L" series Pantara, means it does without the bulky 5 mph plastic bumpers mandated from 1973
and on. Which hurts the overall styling of the car. In addition, the 1973 and up cars had the engine neutered
with lower compression and a drop in horsepower. The early cars, like this one with the slim metal bumpers
and underrated 330hp Cobra Jet 351 Cleveland motors are the ones to have.
Equipped with an Original 351 Cleveland V-8 and ZF 5 Speed Trans-axle.
Engine Starts up easy, Runs Strong, Smooth Acceleration. Superior handling and braking.
I really enjoy driving this car, a great performer!
The Paint is beautiful, just detailed. Everything is Clean as a whistle.
Interior has black carpet, new Pantera Mats and re-upholstered seats with original frames. Excellent shape!
All Electric, lights, and gauges work as they should.
Undercarriage has normal marks where it"s been jacked up, nothing extreme or rust.
Rockers and Fenders are in great shape.
These cars continue to go up in value and is always respected in the car community, great car for date
nights or local car shows!
Also I have Service Manuals and Booklets. I do have bumpers for the back and also a cover for the car. Reason for selling: Buying a house and working on the college fund.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I can assist if you would like the car inspected or help with loading on transporter.
Thanks for looking
