This is a beautiful 1972 Datsun 240Z. An original Arizona car that is extremely solid.
I bought this car from the original owner"s Daughter. The car was straight and rust free. It has the original AC system in it!
I had the carbs rebuilt, new tank fuel tank and electric pump put in. Gave it a tune up and it runs beautifully.
I had the car painted and they did a nice job. Car has new carpet, door panels, seat covers, sill plates, windshield and rear window rubber, armrests, full dash cover (I don"t like how it fits but I guess that is common) and few other items. Mostly due to the car sitting in the Arizona sun! This is a beautiful car that could easily be taken to the next level with the hard stuff already being done. Pirelli tires look great too.
So if I was keeping the car I would: recharge AC system New weatherstrip on rear hatch Has a small oil leak on rear seal Choke cables need adjustment. Seem scold blooded on cold mornings. Maybe shocks. Not familiar with these cars so not sure how smooth the ride should be.
But this is definitely a car you can hop in and drive. Take it to the shows. People love this car. I get stopped all the time by people wanting to take a look. Enjoy it while you finish up the few cosmetics.
You will not find a cleaner rust free Datsun that looks this good for anywhere near my starting price. And its going NO RESERVE! Title is clear and in my name. Please feel free to come test drive this car.
