Vehicle description
1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer.
Hi all - I am re-listing this as the previous auction winner claimed that his 4-year old son bid on this truck. Please don"t waste all of our time with this type of silliness.
Older full mechanical restoration: rebuilt 350 CI engine with mild performance camshaft, rebuilt manual transmission (4 speed on floor with low gear), all bushings, body mounts, and steering components replaced by previous owner. Holley carburetor, MSD ignition, headers, stainless steel exhaust. 20 years with current owner. Actual mileage unknown. Purchased in Colorado. Steering gearbox recently replaced.
There is no rust on this truck, with the exception of a very small surface bubble that has not changed in the 20 years I have owned the truck.
This truck was born (and is still badged) a CST, but the A/C has been removed and the automatic transmission has been swapped out for a manual. Hardtop is included. The soft-top is relatively new, manufactured by Specialty Top in Denver - no snaps! The hardtop could use some love, but is easily restorable. The front seat covers are worn, but easily replaceable.
Other photos and videos available on request. This is a great truck that has been enjoyed gently for the last 20 years. It is time for me to pass it along to someone else. This could could be driven and enjoyed as-is, or easily restored and sold for big $$. I"ll do my best to keep track of this listing - please ask me any questions you might have. Good luck!
