Vehicle description
To start with this car is still titled in the original owners name. Owner purchased in Germany while stationed there as a Air Force Captain. I have a copy of the original bill of sale dated April 7th 1971 with buyers name, Vin number, engine number, and selling price in Deutsch Marks. The Captain had the car shipped back with him years later when he returned home. Car currently has a Washington State title from February 1 1977 in the Captains name. This is the title the new owner will receive. Secondly I"m selling this car for a good customer of mine. The car and title are with me at my home. I will be the person answering the questions and most likely helping to make pickup/shipping arrangements. Once the auction has ended I"ll provide the car owners contact information so arrangments can be made for payment.
This is a very nice 1971 Volvo 1800E daily driver. Runs great. Recently been repainted. New chrome bumpers. New stainless exterior trims. Most of the rubber gaskets have been replaced. New carpet set. Front seats and armrest recovered. Upper and lower dash have new overlays.
This car is color code Gold Metallic (105) with black interior (343-768). Transmission shifts into all gears. Overdrive works great. Tachometer works. Speedometer is currently not working but I have a new cable on the way. Clock is not working and most likely needs rebuilt. Exterior lights all work. Brakes work very well. Windshield wipers have been repaired and back on the car since pictures taken.
I have taken well over 140 detailed pictures of this car from just about every angle. I can send them using Dropbox. Please contact me if you want those sent.
