Here’s my beautiful 1971 Squareback. It’s mainly stock but with a professionally done Ducati Red paint job and all new interior with gray seats and black carpeting throughout including front trunk and rear cargo area (also has rubber mat in the cargo area). All rubber door/trunk seals are new (replaced at time of paint job which was around 2007). GT steering wheel. Upgraded exhaust. Custom hardwood roof rack. Nicely lowered stance on stock suspension. 1600 fuel injected flat four engine runs great. Actual mileage is unknown (the odometer has been broken the whole 10 years I’ve owned the vehicle but reads 81,xxx). Leaks a little oil like most old VWs do. Only issue I’m aware of potentially needing a new master brake cylinder (it leaks brake fluid).
