1971 VW Beetle Convertible Karmann Edition Non-Op Project 105k Miles Please, bid only if you can afford to pay within 3 days of auction’s end. California car, relocated to the Pacific Northwest years ago, and has been stored in a garage since.
Being sold exactly as-is as a non-operational project vehicle. I was told that it was running and driving when parked, I have not made any attempt to start it, although it looks complete both in, out, and under. Poor old repaint in black over what looks like a light green metallic original color. Not rust-free, but not a rusty car. Floor pans have been patched at some point (does not stand out as a hack job), there are a few minor areas of perforation, but overall a seemingly sound car. Top goes up and down, but is obviously in need of replacement. Interior is the tired old original as far as I can tell. Very nice Mini Lite-style wheels, tires have tread but are older.
Shifter has been upgraded, otherwise I believe it to be mostly original mechanically. Odometer shows 05,100 miles, believed to be 105k.
