“Very good candidate for restoration. $1,500 worth of parts and labor put into car within the past year. Parts replaced include fuel tank and straps, fuel tank sensor, fuel line hose, fuel pump and gasket, ignition coil, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap, carburetor rebuilt, wheel cylinders and brake shoes. All fluids replaced - oil, transmission, and radiator. Most of the rust on the body is minor surface rust. Small amount of cancerous rust on right rear fender. Bottom side of car is in very good condition. Overall a very solid car. Originally the car was gold but repainted brown. Car runs but two of the engine pistons don't work. All the exterior lights and four-ways work but turn signals don't work. Blower motor for cabin works but no A/C. Car sat for 7 years in a pole barn. Headliner has mold so interior needs to be completely replaced. I wanted to restore the car but have lost interest.” |
