1971 Plymouth Duster

I am the 2nd owner of this car. I drive it regularly but not every day it can be a daily driver. History of the car can be documented. Sold originally as a special order car in October of 1970 from Vandenberg Motors in Sacramento California. It is a rare car in that it was ordered with power steering, and a rare option of a 3 speed floor shift manual transmission and a special paint color (EL5 a Dodge color Butterscotch) you could do things like that back then, also dealer installed air conditioning. This was the original owners first car after she graduated from college. She drove the car regularly for nearly 30 years, until she purchase a new Honda. She then parked the Duster in her garage where it stayed for nearly 20 years only being driven short distances to keep it in running condition.
The car was repainted to its current blue and re upholstered at the same time in 1990 following a minor accident that damaged the rear of the car. The car has always been maintained very well mechanically. When I acquired it it had new tires recently. Since it has new brakes including master cylinder, new shocks, new carburetor and a major tune up. If you have questions or want more photos please contact me.

I maintain an inventory of trucks we are parting out and nearly 10 thousand square feet of yard and parts warehousing here in Sacramento. I do accept reasonable offers on my products if so listed otherwise the price is the price if you need it buy it otherwise look elsewhere. Parts are sold locally daily and can be removed at any time. Business Hours: We operate from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time, Tuesday through Saturday; we are closed Sunday and Monday. I attempt to return emailed inquires within 24 hours of receipt. I also will be happy to carry on extended email conversations with potential customers who are looking to purchase products from us. “This means if you buy on Saturday your parts will not ship until Tuesday of the following week so do not open a case with when your part does not show up on Monday.” Shipping: Free shipping is free shipping within the continental United States, ie does not include Alaska or Hawaii. Calculated shipping is only an estimate and I find many times these calculations from are incorrect on calculated shipping, a handling fee is charged to cover packing materials and labor on larger items, i.e. hoods, doors, fenders, etc. If there is a discrepancy in actual cost and the calculated estimate you will be notified and ask to pay the difference or you may receive a refund, if in doubt please ask. We attempt to ship smaller in stock items within 1 to 2 business days of payment for your order. Larger items and items that must be removed from a vehicle prior to shipping may take a little longer, we do advise you of this and give a tentative shipping date. We recommend shipping insurance on glass and other fragile products we make no guarantees against breakage or damage in shipping and on fragile items charge for special packing.
