For Sale is my bedouin beige 1971 MGB GT. This is a one year only original color for this MG. It had gone through a restoration in the late 1990s while owned by firt owner. Health problems forced to sell. I"m the fourth owner and bought this from in North Carolina. It runs excellent and shows very well. It won second place in a Virginia show by the previous owner and pictured in the MGB Association magazine. Recently it took first place at a Fathers day British car show. It had 12 other GTs to compete with. That was a 250 mile trip and she ran flawlessly. I"be put almost 3000 miles on it The last few months. The brakes and suspension front and rear had been rebuilt within the last year. All fluids changed. Tires are like new. It features LED tail, turn and brake lights for added visibility. Battery is new and all electrics work. It has been fitted with an air conditioning set up by previous owner that blows ICE cold. Interior is very nice as well as the paint. Two flaws that are minor: 1. tiny bump on left quarter panel (see picture) 2. slight scratch in windshield ( I forget it"s there) could probably be polished out. Reluctantly selling because with my family size I need a toy with a real back seat. A similar MGB Gt just sold for 18k. My auction is bid to win. NADA average value between average and high is 17k. Hagerty 15k. This is an excellent representation of what a MGB GT would have been like in 1971 with some improvments. Feel free to ask questions. Some things I would like to add. It has a new 16 gallon oversize fuel tank, new SU fuel pump, rebuilt SU carburetors and a Bell stainless steel exhaust since I purchased it. I have more in this very nice GT than my asking price. I have a fresh rebuilt spare engine available for another $1500.00 which is also less than I have in it.
