This Mustang is powered by the stout 351 CID Cleveland V8 engine mated to a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic transmission. 16 years ago the car received a fresh paint job and it still looks great to this day. It has a red exterior and a durable and a pretty black vinyl interior. Inside you will be kept cool with air conditioning for those warm summer days with the top down. The top is power for added convenience. Your music of choice will be available through the AM/FM radio and cassette player that you will find in the dash. Maybe it will be Brown Sugar by The Rolling Stones which aired for the first time when this car was built! This would be the perfect car for the drive in. I’m sure that in 1971 you saw a few convertible Mustangs on the way to see Clockwork Orange for the first time in the theaters. Driving in this classic is made easy with power steering and safety is added with seat belts. The 1971 Mustang, introduced in September 1970, was green-lighted by Ford"s new president, Semon "Bunkie" Knudsen, formerly of General Motors. Again, the revised model grew, gaining 3 inches in width in order to accommodate Ford"s big block 429 cu in (7.0 L) V8 without need for an extensive suspension redesign. Has new front and rear shocks. New Electronic Ignition system, no more points. Just had a full tune up a couple of months ago. This is a beautiful car and at this price it won"t last.
