This 1971 Mustang is an amazing example of the era where the lower and longer cars really struck the first-gen pony car. Everything inside has a correct style and feeling, but there are some amazing upgrades. Added options to this beautiful pony car include added front disc brakes and a power brake booster. Fuel line work was completed as well as the front Mach 1 Spoiler. Above the front bumper, is a new style hood scoop followed by new door panels. The rear spoiler has been nicely refinished and the cowl panel repaired. Some of the noted mechanical upgrades include: replaced fuel cap, heater cables, fresh air cable, rebuilt automatic shifter, new door & lock key set, steering wheel, and adjusted shift linkage. The redesigned accelerator bracket at carburetor was replaced and the fuel regulator was relocated. A new windshield was fitted perfectly and rust has been repaired around the windshield frame. To add to the sport feel to this "71, we"ve added chrome tailpipes. There are also shortened up spring shackles. The wiring for brake lights has been repaired and a new rear bumper installed. The new plate light assembly fits perfectly. Also during the rebuild, a new front shock was put in place to bring the ride closer to original. Sway bar end links have been replaced and a new decal was added to the trunk lid. New fender emblems (Mustang name plate), as well as various paint areas have been restored: trunk jamb, fender jamb, etc. This 1971 Mustang Coupe has a terrific style.
