For sale is an original California rust free 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger. This car has resided in the central valley here in California all of its life and is still wearing the original blue and yellow California license plates issued to it in 1971. It is typical of California cars. .sunburned with a dry interior and surface rust where the sun has literally burned off the original paint. The car runs and drives very well. .smoothly and relatively quietly although its does have a slight rumble with dual exhaust. The underside of the car mirrors the top. .just a little surface rust but no other corrosion whatsoever. If you have been looking for a great car needing a cosmetic restoration then you have found it. It does come with a brand new high quality dash pad (cost over $300). Otherwise. .plan on seat covers, a headliner and carpet. Outside. .the original chrome shines beautifully. The body will need paint. .but their is no rust dings or dents. It is pretty rare to find one of these early Dart"s with air conditioning, a V8, power steering and power disc brakes. This car deserves to go to a good home.
