Vehicle description
Hello,
I have up for auction my vintage 1971 Dodge Charger 500 in excellent condition as shown. The color is a brilIiant curious yellow with black striping and is a real head turner. This is an older paint job, but very presentable and beautiful (not a show paint job, but beautiful), and can be driven proudly. There are some small dings in the body from years of use, but nothing that cant be removed. I have a listing of everything that has been done in the last 10 years, but to name a few: New vinyl roof, deep oil pan with quick change connection, Edelbrock water pump and carb, new hoses and clamps, new cross muffler, engine rebuild .30 overbore (sized as a 440 now and roars), differential 3.23 gears rebuilt, new brakes. lines. drums. rotors etc, transmission rebuilt, master cylinder, speed kit, new battery, new gas tank and sender, stiffer torsion bars, springs like 440, Monroe gas shocks, AC rebuilt and charged (cold), undercoating applied, newer cobra tires, stealth aluminum heads, chrome alternator, new spark plugs and wires, aluminum intake, new carpet, wheels painted silver, new belts, super bee floor mats (mainly because of its yellow and black color, super bee front plate, front beard. .etc. but the materials add up to well over $12K. In the last 7 years, the car has been driven less than 500 miles and has been garage stored for the last 20 years. Has some small rust on the driver side panel at the bottom, but other than that, she is very solid. This is a very long car at 205" so make sure it fits in your garage. The interior is super condition and original, but the radio that is currently hooked up is a vintage am/fm pioneer with cassette. There are speakers in the back, but not hooked up. The only bad I can think to mention is someone attempted to make this a stick shift, so small holes in the floor panel have been repaired to keep any moisture out, and a carpet installed. It has the original 383 engine, but like I said it has been overbored and many parts replaced to make lighter and faster. Small slit in the underside of the roof material on the passenger side, but hardly noticeable. Only selling due to needed garage space for another toy, not taking offers, but no reserve price on my auction. You either pick this up, or I will help load on a truck for you, but you arrange shipping. I will deal internationally if interested. She is a real beauty, and a real pleasure to drive. Thank you for your bids in advance and you will be pleased. I am not offering returns on it, so come take a look or bid with confidence based on my feedback.
