Vehicle description
1971 Dodge Challenger R/T 340 Automatic Factory Shaker Hood Option
1971 Dodge Challenger R/T"s are rare cars, add to that the 340 engine option makes this car one of less than 1,100 built, and only a small handful of them received the N96 fresh air Shaker Hood option. You won"t find many available today, especially in such beautifully restored condition as this example.
This is a solid Western car having spent most of it"s life in Oregon, the overall condition of the original sheet metal is beautiful, unlike what you see with cars from East of the Rockies with rust history. This car is ready to drive and enjoy, it"s freshly restored and needs nothing. This car is the real deal, a factory original FC7 Plum Crazy Purple 340 N96 Shaker Hood car. The engine is a correct replacement 340, the transmission is numbers matching, as are the body number stampings, original fender tag, Dash VIN tag, and door VIN decal. There is no broadcast sheet. Why buy a project car (if you can find a good one) only to spend far more money, and typically years of your life, going through the restoration process when you can buy a beautifully done car and enjoy it immediately?
