Loss of job forces sale of a very nice restored 1971 Chevrolet El Camino. I bought this car a couple of months ago at Mecum Auction in Kansas City but like I said, loss of job forces sale. I would not be scared to drive this car anywhere. It is a very, very nice car in my opinion. It"s been restored in the past year with new paint, new interior, rebuilt V8 motor, new tonneau cover, and new vinyl top. Car runs excellent and has no mechanical problems that I"m aware of. The only known issues are: the original AM radio does not work and the fuel gauge does not work. I just discovered that the heater core is leaking, so if the reserve auction price is met, I will have the heater core replaced prior to the buyer"s pick-up of car. I do have the original build sheet for the car. The car has power steering. Please inspect pictures closely and call me to answer any further questions you may have. Again, it is my opinion that this car is very nice, but for further inspection I would suggest taking a look at it in-person before bidding. This car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I do not need help selling this vehicle.
