My wife and I love this Beetle, although we simply cannot keep it. It"s by no means a redone rebuilt show worthy car. It"s simply a clean and basic stock VW with some minor issues that a 47 year old car has, like a poorly taped over rip in backseat, the paint was redone not original, but it is in that classic color.
It hasn"t been driven for a few weeks, and today started right up on first turn of ignition. I let it run a bit and the idle was nice and steady.
I had the brakes and lines just redone last month, and some other tune up this and that stuff at $700 total. The local 40+ year VW mechanic in town has worked on it for years and keeps it in great condition. He agree"s its a great condition, fun to drive Beetle and loves it as well.
Not 100% sure if odometer 60K is original or it"s flipped to 160K
