This 1 owner, signal yellow, 1970 911t Targa, in need of body cosmetic repair, is still a running, driveable chassis. Vehicle has been serviced by us, Stuttgart Service of Williamsburg, for the past 20 years, with service records dating back to 1996. It is a California delivered car, with 162,000 original miles. All services have been brought up to date with the most recent servicing including an alternator conversion. The year prior the engine was out for a total engine reseal, valve adjust and PMO carburetors installed. At the same time the 901 transmission was taken apart, freshened up, and resealed. Upon reassembly a new rear main seal was installed along with new clutch, pressure plate, pilot and throw out bearings, throw out bearing collar, and resurfaced flywheel. The vehicle has been fitted with an oil fed chain tensioner update, stainless steel heat exchangers, turbo tie rod conversion, recent Interstate twin batteries. The original Fuchs alloys have been restored by Wheel Enhancments, with like new, modern Bridgestone Potenza tires. The interior has been reconditioned with both seats and steering wheel having been sent to Auto"s International to be recovered. The speedometer and clock have also been sent out to VDO to be upgraded with bronze gearing and analog mechanism respectively. And finishing off the interior is a new set of Porsche floor mats.
