Vehicle description
1970 Pontiac Firebird
fuel: gas
title status: clean
transmission: automatic
Selling my 1970 Firebird. Pontiac 350 engine TH350 transmission. All original besides new transmission and radiator. Runs and drives good. Clean title, registered and insured. It was non-op for a while and then I bought it and changed the radiator and transmission.
I have been driving it around town but it probably needs a tune-up and to go through and check everything before you go on longer drives. But it does run very good and shifts good. Brakes and steering work good. Headlights work but tail lights and brake lights are not working. It has the usual quarterpanel rust on both sides and some on the passenger door rocker panel area and some small holes in the trunk now. Everything else looks good structurally. It is a California car.
The tail panel was removed because it was cracked and the bumper is a bit bent so I think the previous owner backed into something. The driver"s side fender has a dent. The interior is there and I like driving it around as is, but it was probably done in the 1980"s and looks alike from the disco era. Other than that, it is a great fun car to own and drive.
Best owner would be someone who does the work on their own. That would make it the best value because costs might add up if you bring it to a shop to fix everything, but it is a valuable car, values are increasing, and most of the repairs are basic. With a little work this would be a very nice cruising car. I like driving it as it is but maybe someone would want to go the next step and restore it more. Original color was lucerne blue with blue interior, code 26 26. Any questions, please shoot me an email. Please no lowball offers over email. I advertised it locally too and reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells before the auction ends. Car is located in Coarsegold, CA 93614. Thanks for looking.
