This nice Mercedes has always been in the Bakersfield area of California, so there is no rust or corrosion. The underside is clean and nice. There are not drips or leaks on the hangar floor where the car is parked, any seeping hose or drips have been addressed as they arise. It was originally owned by my history teacher for many years until his passing around 2000. My brother-in-law bought it from the estate and had it until a couple of years ago, when I bought it from him. I have enjoyed on weekends going out to events and such. I have had a local Advanced European Automotive Group go through the car and replace things that would in their opinion create a problem if I decided to go on a long trip one day. They have in the last year replaced window motors that were running slow, window switches that didn"t work as directed. Shifting rubber grommets replaced with the new tight ones, door locks repaired and extra keys made, removed and rodded the radiator and refilled with fresh coolant, replaced the steering box as the old one had a little play in it , new battery, electric fan on radiator, new fan clutch, new a/c compressor and valves etc. New spark plugs with full oil change and service, new brake master cylinder etc. The stereo has USB ports and bluetooth for music and hands free phone. I had all of these things done so we could trust the car to get us where we needed go and minimize trouble away from home.
