“4 SALE- '70 Challenger RT 440 auto- matching #'s w/sheet 4 SALE- '70 Challenger RT 440 auto- matching #'s w/sheetThis car was brought from Texas to Iowa is the 90's. It was all original paint etc. & all numbers matching with a nice broadcast sheet & it is super clean! Right after buying it in the 90's, it popped out of park in his steep driveway, rolled across the street & into a concrete ditch bending the left front frame rail (properly repaired now), the wrecker dented the passenger rear 1/4 panel pulling it from the ditch, there are a few light hail dents on the roof & I'd replace the trunk lid. The floorpans & framerails are near perfect, it will need a trunk center from rail to rail only. The owner removed the bent fenders & hood, then rolled it into his garage until his passing about 5-6 years ago. A friend of mine bought it from the widow about 5 years ago & acquired the needed rust free front end. His wife got pregnant with triplets so, it had to come to me.”

It was all original paint etc. & all numbers matching with a nice broadcast sheet & it is super clean! Right after buying it in the 90"s, it popped out of park in his steep driveway, rolled across the street & into a concrete ditch bending the left front frame rail (properly repaired now-see pictures), the wrecker dented the passenger rear 1/4 panel pulling it from the ditch, there are a few light hail dents on the roof & I"d replace the trunk lid. His wife got pregnant with triplets shortly afterward & the car sat more. I bought it a couple months ago, brought it to my shop, sat the body on my 8 point jig & we properly installed the new front clip & a new cowl while retaining the body numbers, ALL this work is documented with photos & the old front nose is still here with original paint to further document the proper repair. The drivers door retains the original door vin decal & the car has all original paint except for the nose. It has all numbers matching engine, transmission, alternator, starter, carb, distributor, exhaust manifolds etc. etc. etc. with a nice original fender tag & build sheet. The engine is completely, properly rebuilt by Beyer racing engines in Gretna Nebraska, the transmission is fresh also. About the only thing I do not have is the air cleaner. The fresh engine & tranny are installed to ease shipping. The original 70 fenders have been media blasted & exopy primed, the have a few dings but both have ZERO RUST. Included is the parts needed to convert it to floor shift & console if you wish plus a tan "70 console. I"d consider Mopar/gas/tire/oil signage or realistically priced Mopars towards the Challenger. PM me for contact info- Thanks! Paul
P.S. There are 111 pictures at my shop"s f-book page- - - Paul"s Suite 426 Restorations
P.S.S. I"d also consider a clean, open car trailer in trade.
