Vehicle description
Introducing an all original 1970 Chrysler 300, an impressive degree of historical quality produced in Jefferson, Michigan. This car is a 4 door hardtop with the big block 440 - 4 barrel V8 engine. It has the classic Jada Green paint job and matching interior. As noted in the pictures, this car has 30,573 original miles. Being garage/shop kept it"s entire life, there is minimal surface blemishes throughout the car. The interior is in very good condition, only one small (about 2" in length) seam tear in the driver"s door panel arm rest. As for the mechanical condition of this antique, excellent is an understatement. After being parked in a shop since 1988, it was brought to full operational capabilities in 2009 requiring only spark plugs, spark plug wires, a few vacuum lines, belts, and fluids/filters. At that time the car was driven daily for approximately 2 weeks ( about 1,000 miles) and parked again until May 2017, at which time another set of spark plug wires were installed, a few vacuum lines were replaced, and a brake line was replaced in order to make the car operational again. A favorite attribute of this car is how quickly and easily it roars to life, even after sitting for 10+ years. Having no way of truly evaluating what the car is worth, it is listed for what seems to be fair throughout the market based on its condition. When in doubt, make a reasonable offer.
It is not recommended to drive the car on a road trip at this time due to safety circumstances (for example, dry rotted tires and old shocks). That however is the buyer"s choice, as the responsibility for transporting this car rests on the buyer.
