Vehicle Details 1970 Chevrolet SS 396 El Camino . Liquidating my dads estate and this is one of his favorites . It’s been in the desert and is pretty much rust free, just a little surface on the body that’s blended in the patina from the time it was outdoors before he purchased it , it has been garaged for the last 6 years plus. He had a clear coat put on the entire body cause he liked the weathered look. I had it up on a hoist recently and it is rust free underneath, frame is in great shape. He replaced the original Muncie transmission with another Muncie , but retained the original to rebuild as it is matching numbers with the original engine that runs great by the way that comes with the car .He purchased a Hurst shift kit (0ver a 600.00 value) but never got to it ,that comes with the car. Bucket seats 4 on the floor , new exhaust system ,it’s a beauty . It’s a true SS thru and thru , 395 turbo jet 350 horse . The interior is in really good shape , headliner , door panels etc.,doors are tight windows great . Odometer reads 26386 but I don’t know anything about that.
