70 caprice rare , not like the Impala that you often see, this 2 door Caprice is considered a rolling bank account. The price only goes up as the miles roll by. Was told its the original 350 engine with automatic trans , but did not verify for myself. It appears to be untouched. Arkansas car , clear ARKANSAS TITLE. This car has a/c with belt still attached , power disc brakes in front, power steering, new rochester quadrajet carb. This car has been sitting in warmer climate and recently was brought to Chicago. Tilt steering wheel for easy access and better control of this land yacht. The seats were upgraded with bucket seats and a Grand Prix console on the floor with floor shifts which operates as it should. Custom seat covers were added and a fake convertible top to make it appear more classy and elegant. The 15" Chevy rally wheels with white wall tires are nicely appointed wtth 4 center caps and 3 spinners. The car had been sitting, thus the gas was very old and stale. We drained out what we could and added fresh gas. It was cranking great with the newer battery and eventually started for about 20 -30 seconds. The next time we tried to start it , it would not crank, just zing. . It may need a starter, no time to mess with it. Pretty solid body, frame is solid rockers solid, pass side floors have some holes, but trunk floor is solid with very minor pin holes. This car is sold a a restortion project or parts car where every single part needs to be replaced or refurbished to bring it up to its former glory.
