Vehicle description
1970 Chevy Camaro…The pinnacle of Second Generation Camaro’s.
Please only bid or click the “Buy It Now” if you can follow through with full payment. It costs money to place the auction and if I have to relist I have to pay Ebay again.
This is a Real Citrus Green (Paint code43) ’70-1/2 Camaro that has been in a climate controlled shop for several years. No engine/ no transmission. It has multi-leaf’s in the rear with a 10 bolt rear end. Was originally an automatic console shift car. There’s not much of the original interior there (basically none except for the dash pad/panel). There are two front buckets, a rear seat and a couple boxes of interior parts from a later 2 nd gen Camaro that come with the car. Solid original floor pans. Previous owner had lower rear quarter patch panels done, including inner drop offs and also partial trunk pan. They did a pretty decent job. (You can see in photos) Car is really clean, front sub-frame looks clean/ square rolls and steers real easy. I see no obvious signs of ever having a major collision. Dash is solid, clean and nicely painted.Cowl is solid & rust free. Rear frame rails are good. No windshield with car but does have back glass still in it. Does have the door glass and inner mechanisms, windows roll up and down good. Glass looks good except one minor chip on passenger window but it’s small. The rockers are super nice, Door jams front and rear have no rust, very solid and clean. Original rear inner/outer/lower wheel wells super clean and rust free Front inner fenders fit nice and rust free- even the passenger side front part of the inner fender where the battery sits has virtually no signs of acid rot. Doors, fenders, hood have no rust issues. Door hinges nice tight doors open and shut smooth All the original wiring harness is still there. Front subframe nice, clean and painted Core support rust free, clean and nicely painted- rust free/ zero rot where subframe mounts etc Front springs real stiff when you push on fender- previous owner planned for a big block install Front window trim and rear window trim all there Comes with radiator, new 72 Camaro grill, two boxes of miscellaneous parts removed from the car and other odds and ends. Comes with extra bumpers. (Standard front& extra rear) Comes with an extra trunk lid Rolling on full set of 1970 Camaro ralleye wheels. All tires hold air and roll great. Clean and clear WA State title. This is a solid platform to begin your Pro-Touring/ Race car/ Hot Rod/ Restoration/Custom/ Resto-Mod build. I believe the “Buy it Now” of $8,800.00 is a great price for this solid ’70 2 nd gen. Something to think about: You can buy a“new” reproduction body made with overseas metal with no parts on it, basically a “roller” once you assemble it for the cost of over $25,000.00 USD. Then there will be just as much, if not a lot more work on the reproduction body, plus buying all the additional parts on top of that. Nothing beats OEM. In addition, when you build/ restore an OEM car, one that was Made in the U.S.A. as this one is, you end up with a legitimate, unquestionable title and an original VIN on the car. Please ask questions if you have any. Don’t assume anything. Ebay limits the amount of photos I can post. You are welcome to come personally look the car over or have a professional agent or representative come look at the car. I like to buy muscle car parts etc on Ebay, I have a great rating, I want to keep it that way and I want you to be happy about your purchase. I am happy to work with you and your shipper to make sure your car is picked up/ loaded etc in a timely manner. With that being said, I am willing to keep the car stored for a maximum of 10 days. If longer than 10days I will need to charge for storage (we can discuss monetary amount/ time). All the extra parts can fit/ be loaded inside the car for shipping.
I have mentioned to a couple of my car buddies I’m selling this car and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time if a local buyer wants it. PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS $500.00 Down payment Due within 24 hours of auction end or“Buy It Now”. Deposit may be done via PayPal. Remainder of payment due within 5business days.
